Turbocare represents a group of charity organizations that Turbocam India Pvt. Ltd and MacBrout Engineering Pvt. Ltd. support, financially. Turbocam and Macbrout - being a sister company, share the mission of serving the poor and needy by sharing a part of profit they make. The companies have help start schools, care for the disadvantaged children, provide for the leprosy-affected, help the aged and aid job oriented programmes.
Shining light school, Poona, which started as a daycare center is now a full blown school. The institute is involved in providing quality, English-medium based education, for a nominal fee, to the children of those who cannot afford to send them to a private institute. Glory School in Dharavi - Asia's largest slum provides quality education to the poor children in the neighbourhood. Agape trust is involved in providing free tuitions along with evening meal to the slum children, in Mysore.....
Michael and his team, from Gulbarga has helped several leprosy-affected people. Their work is focused in and around Gulbarga - especially the Gandhi Leprosy Colony. The team is also involved in advocating on behalf of the illitrate persons of the colony. Over the year, they have helped avail government benefits reserved for the leprosy affected.
Turbocare also supports the work of Aaji Sewa Kendra, in Dharavi. The organization attends to the needs of the old aged in the vicinity. They provide the aajis (old women, in Marathi) with food, clothes, address medical needs and also provide counseling.
Nurses' training programme, in Salem, offers nursing assistant programmes to poor young women from the villages. Several who have graduated since it's inception are working in big hospitals, in and around Salem. They earn good salary and support their families.
Turbocare continues to strive to reach more poor and needy in the coming years.
